Spider-Man: Homecoming star Michael Mando has shared a cryptic tease regarding the character of Scorpion.
One of the most exciting teases in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which playfully hinted towards the formation of the Sinister Six. In the 2017 film, Michael Mando played street hustler and gangster Mac Gargan, who eventually becomes Scorpion.
In the post-credits scene, Michael Mando’s character was arrested and sent to prison, where he runs into Adrian Toomes. Michael Mando’s Mac Gargan tells Toomes that he and his friends on the outside are interested in killing the Spider-Man, teasing the Sinister Six. Three years since the film’s release, it appears that Michael Mando may just finally get the chance to take on the role of Scorpion.
In a brand new tweet posted on Saturday, Michael Mando posted a picture of himself presumably in front of a desert landscape with the caption merely containing a Scorpion emoji. Check out the tweet below.

This tweet from Michael Mando comes days after the star stated that there’s “always a chance” he could play Scorpion in an upcoming film. It wouldn’t be surprising if Michael Mando was asked to return to the role of Mac Gargan for the third Spider-Man film as the character wasn’t even mentioned in Far From Home. With Spider-Man’s identity now revealed to the world, it would be interesting for Scorpion’s friends to break him out of prison so they can kill Spider-Man. We’ve never seen the Sinister Six on screen so it would definitely be a treat for Spider-Man fans.
