Mike Colter Talks How Luke Cage Would React To The Punisher

During a Facebook Live Q&A on the official Luke Cage page, Mike Colter was greeted by his future Defenders co-star Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil). Colter began their interaction by congratulating Cox for becoming a new father. Cox lamented that he hasn’t fully caught up with Luke Cage, to which Colter humorously replied that they both would finish it around the same time next year.

One of the questions Colter was given  was related to Cox’s recent work in Daredevil season 2. Colter was asked on how he feels Luke would react if The Punisher came to Harlem to go after criminal elements. Colter felt firm on whether or not Luke would stop Frank Castle:

No, I’m not gonna stop him. I don’t get blood on my hands but I won’t stop him from taking out dirtbags.

I’d let it be. I don’t know if I have that thing in me that says I have to stop everyone from wiping out crime wherever it is… I wouldn’t care enough to stop someone else from doing it.
Jon Bernthal is currently filming Marvel’s upcoming Punisher series for Netflix. Bernthal is also rumored to be making an appearance in The Defenders. Hypothetically speaking, if Luke Cage and Frank Castle were to cross paths, fans would lose their minds to see these two characters onscreen together. What do you guys think Luke Cage would do if he met the Punisher? Do you think we’ll see them interact onscreen together in the future? Sound off in the comments below.
