The Russo Brothers have shared a photo on Facebook with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown sitting beside them as they direct a scene in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. The caption reads, “Guest director Millie Bobby Brown.”
Brown has become a superstar since Netflix launched Stranger Things last summer, instantly becoming one of the most popular series in recent years. Since then the actress has been very vocal about franchises or television shows she would like to be a part of. In addition to wanting to guest star on The Walking Dead, Brown has expressed her desire to portray a young Princess Leia in the Star Wars universe — also under the Disney family umbrella with Marvel.
While Brown would very much be a welcomed addition to the MCU, a set visit isn’t anything to jump to conclusions over. Production on both projects is currently underway in Atlanta, Georgia and any of the stars of Stranger Things or Avengers: Infinity War visiting the sets of the respective productions isn’t anything surprising given the popularity of Marvel films and the Netflix series.
It’s also highly unlikely that Marvel would allow such an image to hit the web if Brown was in talks to join the MCU.
Outside of Stranger Things, Brown is currently set to star in Godzilla: King of Monsters, the third film in Legendary’s cinematic monster universe which is set to begin production in Atlanta this summer. She is also the new face of Calvin Klein and currently starring in the new Converse “Forever Chuck” campaign.
