The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian actress Ming-Na Wen calls the Star Wars part of Fennec Shand a dream role.

Ming-Na Wen first appeared as Fennec Shand in the first season of The Mandalorian. Specifically, she appeared as a criminal on who the titular character took a bounty contract. At the end of the episode, however, she was apparently killed after being shot in the gut and left for dead in the desert of Tatooine. Before the episode ended, however, a figure with his face off camera approached her body.

In the second season of The Mandalorian, this figure was revealed to be Boba Fett who saves her life. The two eventually joined Din Djarin in his efforts to rescue Grogu from the remaining forces of The Empire. The actress would eventually reprise the role for the Star Wars animated series, The Bad Batch, before returning in live-action as Fennec Shand in The Book of Boba Fett.

In the new series, Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand serves as Boba Fett’s right hand as he attempts to take control of the underworld on Tatooine. In a new featurette, the actress discussed the part and even goes so far as to call it a dream role. You can see the full video below:
