‘Mission: Impossible 6’ Director Shows Off Stunt Prep & Henry Cavill’s ‘Stache

Mission: Impossible
Mission: Impossible 6 director Christopher McQuarrie has shared a behind the scenes photo on Instagram of himself with M:I-6 stars Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill.

McQuarrie uploaded the photo with a cryptic tease as all he put in the caption was an ellipsis. The photo features both Cruise and Cavill sporting parachutes and Cavill showing off his new mustache. You can check it out below.

Could McQuarrie be teasing the action centerpiece of the new film? Every Mission: Impossible film features death-defying, jaw-dropping stunts but Skydance Media CEO David Ellison previously teased that the sixth installment of the franchise will include a stunt that will top any of the franchise’s previous stunts, a stunt that Cruise trained for a year to perform.

Plot details on Mission: Impossible 6 are still under wraps. The film kicked off production earlier this month in Paris and is expected to continue in London, India and New Zealand until sometime in July.

Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris and Simon Pegg are all returning to join Cruise in the next film along with newcomers such as Cavill, The Crown actress Vanessa Kirby, Supergirl‘s Frederick Schmidt, and Sherlock‘s Sian Brooke.

Mission: Impossible  6 is currently slated to hit theaters on July 27, 2018. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on M:I 6 as we learn it.
