New ‘Mission: Impossible 6’ Set Photos Reveal First Look At Henry Cavill

Mission ImpossibleA new batch of photos from the set of the sixth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise has hit the web revealing the first look at Henry Cavill in character in the upcoming film.

The photos reveal Cavill and his mustache behind the wheel of a large truck with Tom Cruise in the passenger seat. You can check them out below.

Who exactly Cavill is playing remains a mystery as both plot and character details are still under wraps but it was previously revealed that Cavill will be a sort of right hand to the Impossible Mission Force team led by Cruise. When the actor agreed to take the role, director Christopher McQuarrie revealed that his character will be featured heavily in action sequences that involve extreme heights, high speeds with motor vehicles of all kinds including aircraft’s as well as practical stunts, firearms, and explosions.

Production has been underway on location in Paris since the director announced the start of filming earlier this month and is expected to continue in London, India and New Zealand for the next three months.

Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris and Simon Pegg are all returning to join Cruise in the next film along with newcomers such as Cavill, The Crown actress by, Supergirl‘s Frederick Schmidt, and Sherlock‘s Sian Brooke.
