Ms. Marvel co-creator Sana Amanat responded honestly when previewing the next episode of the series.

Ms. Marvel is four episodes into its season, and it has already been one of the most stylish MCU projects to date. The story itself explores Kamala Kahn’s origins as she becomes the superhero she has always wanted to be with the character currently stationed in Karachi. At the end of this week’s episode, it appears Kamala has traveled back in time and will learn more about her ancestry.

Ms. Marvel’s Big Episode

So far, most of Marvel Studios’ shows have featured a big episode with a reveal of a villain. Ms. Marvel co-creator Sana Amanat revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the penultimate episode of the season took a lot of risks and admitted she’s a little nervous about what the reaction will be:

The next episode is going to be an interesting one. Full disclosure, it’s the episode I’m most nervous about. I think it’s really great, but we took some risks with that episode. So, I’m curious to know how people are going to respond to it.

Here is the synopsis for Ms. Marvel:

Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?

The series stars Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat, and Farhan Akhtar. Episodes of the series were directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with Bisha K. Ali serving as the head writer. Marvel’s Kevin Feige is involved in the series as an executive producer.

Ms. Marvel is now streaming on Disney Plus, with new episodes released every Wednesday. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the Disney Plus series, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more original video content.
