‘The Mummy’: New TV Spot Released Alongside ‘The Mummy Day’ Livestream

In celebration of The Mummy's upcoming release, today was deemed 'The Mummy Day' by Universal studios, where a new TV spot was launched.

MummyIn case you didn’t know, today is ‘The Mummy Day’! Despite not being a national holiday, Universal Studios has decided to celebrate the release of the upcoming Tom Cruise film and the first addition to their Universal’s Monsters Cinematic Universe by unveiling a 75 Foot sarcophagus in Los Angeles. The event was live streamed and featured appearances from the principal cast, including Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, and Jake Johnson. A variety of interviews, featurettes, and trivia facts are seen throughout the live stream. In addition, the live stream features a few new shots from the film. In addition to the live stream, The Mummy’s official Twitter account posted a brand new TV spot, which you can check out below.

The film stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Jake Johnson, Annabelle Wallis, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe. Here’s the official synopsis:
