National Treasure Disney Bad Boys

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bad Boys for Life co-writer Chris Bremner has been tapped to pen the script for Disney’s National Treasure 3.

In a report on Chris Bremner being tapped to pen the script for a fourth Bad Boys film, The Hollywood Reporter notes that the writer has also been enlisted to deliver the National Treasure 3 screenplay for Disney. Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced Disney’s first two National Treasure films, will reportedly return for the third installment of the franchise.

Disney’s first National Treasure followed Nicholas Cage’s Benjamin Franklin Gates as he sought to steal the Declaration of Independence after learning the document contains a coded map to a lost treasure. Three years later, Disney released a sequel titled National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which centered on Gates’ mission to prove his ancestor’s innocence in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln.
