Marvel Releases New Grim ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Screenshots

Avengers Endgame Thor Chris Hemsworth

Marvel Studios, now only a week away from their largest cinematic endeavor, has released an official a new set of screenshots from Avengers: Endgame featuring Iron Man, Thor, and part of a fight with Thanos.

Those dying to get any piece of Avengers: Endgame just a week shy of its release will be equally enthralled and disappointed with new screenshots released by Marvel Studios earlier today. However, the term ‘new’  should be used lightly, as most of these screenshots are from previously released footage from either trailers or TV spots. But, at this point, the less that fans know the better. That is if they have been lucky enough to avoid the spoiler-filled footage that leaked recently.

Judging by the images released, it doesn’t look like the remaining heroes are having much of a good time in Avengers: Endgame. Well, that is besides Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, who always seems to find an excuse to crack that mythically contagious smile. Other than the mighty Asgardian, everyone else looks stoic and depressed, and rightfully so.

One image features stranded Tony Stark on the Milano from the scene prominently featured in the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame.  Another features Thor’s first meeting with Captain Marvel, in which Thor delivers the now heavily memed line, “I like her,” before cracking maybe the only smile to feature in this film. One image to really take note of is a shot of Nebula seemingly on the attack against Thanos. Those who have read the Infinity Gauntlet comics know that this is a pivotal point for the character in the story.
