New photos from the set of Avengers: Infinity War set has revealed New York City could be experiencing another “incident” in the upcoming film.

Plot details for the next Avengers film are still under wraps but it is known that it will feature the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe as the fractured team of Avengers are brought back together to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and take on the Mad Titan, Thanos. Given Thanos and the likelihood that the film will include his lethal group of aliens known as the Black Order, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that New York could suffer a level of destruction similar to that of the first Avengers film.

The new set photos captured by the Associated Press’s Mike Stewart were posted to Twitter earlier today. Both images feature the cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, and Benedict Wong as Wong on a New York City street set in Atlanta, surrounded by destroyed vehicles and debris.

Variety and JustJared have also tweeted out links to see more images captured from the set on their websites. You can check out them all out below.

Avengers: Infinity War is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo with a script from Captain America: Winter Soldier writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film also stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautisa, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, , Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Infinity War is slated to hit theaters May 4, 2018, with Avengers 4  set for release one year later on May 3, 2019. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
