Batman Gotham by Gaslight

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new clip from DC’s upcoming animated film, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight.

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight is based on DC’s one-shot Elseworlds comic by Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola. The story reimagines the caped crusader as a Victorian-era vigilante-detective as he investigates the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper.

The new clip features Robins Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake extorting an older couple for protection before Batman appears. You can check it out below.

Directed by Sam Liu from a script written by  Jim Krieg, Batman: Gotham By Gaslight stars Bruce Greenwood, Jennifer Carpenter, Scott Patterson, Anthony Head, Yuri Lowenthal, John DiMaggio, William Salyers, Grey Griffin, Tara Strong, Bob Joles, David Forseth, Chris Cox, Lincoln Melcher and Kari Wuhre.

In an age of mystery and superstition, how would the people of Gotham react to a weird creature of the night, a bat-garbed vigilante feared by the guilty and the innocent alike? The very first Elseworlds tale re-imagines the Dark Knight detective in Victorian times and pits him against the infamous murderer Jack the Ripper.

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight will be available on Digitial HD January 23, 2018, followed by the Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray DVD release on February 6, 2018.
