Dwayne Johnson has shared a new trailer for the upcoming R-rated film reboot of the hit ’90s series Baywatch on Twitter.
The series about lifeguards which debuted in 1989 to later become a major hit starred David Hasselhoff as Mitch Buchannon and Pamela Anderson as CJ Parker. Both stars are set to make appearances in the upcoming film but the new cast is lead by Johnson as Buchannon and Zac Efron who plays Matt Brody, an Olympic gold medalist who joins the Baywatch lifeguards thinking he’s in for an easy job but quickly finds out otherwise.
The new trailer puts the spotlight on the villainous oil tycoon Victoria Leeds played Priyanka Chopra and the Baywatch lifeguards mission to stop her from threatening the future of the bay. You can watch it below.

The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Priyanka Chopra, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Pamela Anderson, and David Hasselhoff. Here’s the official synopsis:
