A new image from the upcoming Blade Runner 2049, the long-awaited sequel to Ridley Scott's classic Blade Runner has been released online.

The new image features star Ryan Gosling as LAPD Officer K alongside co-star Ana de Armas who plays Joi in the film as they examine a mysterious device together. You can check it out below.

This new image could be the beginning of the film’s marketing campaign or at the very least, a precursor to it. The next trailer was revealed earlier today by Scott himself to be attached to Alien: Covenant, the upcoming Alien prequel/Prometheus sequel so you can things to begin to ramp up around May 19.

The film stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. Here’s the official synopsis:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters October 6, 2017.
