New Gods and Batman writer Tom King is hard at work on the film as the writer recently teased at big things that were coming.
Tom King’s tease came from the writers official Twitter account. On it, the writer mentions what a week he had while in Hollywood. He then goes on to mention that big things would be coming. Below Tom King’s caption is a picture of New Gods character Orion who is giving a speech regarding a “Game” and a battle.

From the look of things, Tom King and company have some stuff in store for us for New Gods!

Directed by Ava DuVernay, Warner Bros. and DC’s New Gods film will be based on characters created and designed by Jack Kirby. Details on the film are currently unknown, though comic book incarnations of the New Gods have included characters such as Granny Goodness, Desaad, Godfrey, and the powerful villain Darkseid.
New Gods is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Cyborg, Supergirl, and Nightwing.
