Moon Knight Marvel Midnight Suns Firaxis Games

A new trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns revealed more fallen heroes including Spider-Man antagonist Venom under the control of Lilith.

Last summer, Firaxis Games and 2K gave us our first look at their upcoming Marvel game, Midnight Suns. The gameplay promised X-COM-style gameplay with the comic book heroes. Additional trailers showed us what we could expect out of the game along with a few more plot details. In addition, it had been revealed that many of the game’s antagonists would be made up of heroes and villains under the control of Lilith. Now we have learned of another character who will fall under the villain’s control.

During the Summer Games Fest Showcase, a new story trailer showed off a few new details for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The first was that Spider-Man antagonist Venom would be among those who fell under Lilith’s control. The second was that the web-slinger himself would be a character in the upcoming game.

In addition to the trailer, a release date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns was also announced. The game will be available on October 7th of 2022. The game will be playable on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC with a Nintendo Switch version made available at a later date.

Developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K, Marvel’s Midnight Suns centers around The Hunter; the forsaken child of Lilith, Mother of Demons, and the only hero known to have defeated her. Following Lilith’s resurrection by Hydra through a dark twist of Science and Magic, Lilith begins her work to complete an ancient prophecy to bring back her evil master Chthon. In response, The Avengers enlist the help of the Midnight Suns, comprised of Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik, and Ghost Rider to bring back The Hunter and stop Lilith’s dark plans.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be released on October 7th, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC with a Nintendo Switch version to be released at a later date.
