It was recently revealed via set images of Jon Bernthal that Marvel and Netflix’s series, The Punisher, has in fact started filming. Now, the same website who provided the first images (JustJared), has posted a new batch of images showing the actor filming stunt scenes as the vengeful vigilante. Check out the images below:

We aren’t going to post the images, because they don’t belong to us, but you can see them all via JustJared’s Twitter & website.
Frank Castle aka The Punisher was first introduced during Daredevil‘s second season, as a morally gray character who used extreme measures to get revenge on his enemies. His origin played out during Daredevil, so his solo series will most likely pick up after his conflict (and eventual resolution) with Matt Murdock. For now, however, not much else is known about the solo series other than what set images have shown us. We do know, thanks to a press release from Marvel, that the show will be released sometime in 2017.
Are you excited to see progress moving along nice and smoothly during filming of The Punisher? Make sure to let us know below in the comments.
The Punisher is slated for a 2017 release on Netflix’s streaming services.
