New Images Reveal First Look At Live Action ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’

Sonic the Hedgehog

New images of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog film have surfaced online, giving us our first look at the iconic hedgehog and it is something to behold.

The images in question appear to be a series of posters for the upcoming film. They show the character running and holding rings, smiling and looking towards the viewer. The new design appears to be some kind of photorealistic version but it is a bit hard to tell.

You can see the full images below:

From the look of things, the designers probably should have rethought the design.

What do you all make of this image? Is it everything you imagined a live action Sonic to be or will it haunt your nightmares for all time? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

There is no official plot synopsis for the film yet, but Sonic The Hedgehog is set to bring the speedster to the big screen alongside his arch-nemesis Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for more news on Sonic The Hedgehog and other film and television news.

Venom Concept Art Reveals Ridiculous Chest Symbol Designs For Tom Hardy

Ruben Fleischer Venom Sony Tom Hardy Marvel Spider-Man Birds of Prey IMAXNew concept artwork for Tom Hardy's Venom shows off several versions of the symbiote chest symbol, revealing the designs for what we could have gotten in the film.

It's safe to say that Tom Hardy's Venom wasn't enjoyed much by critics, but fans seemed to have liked it given how well it did at the box office. The film lacked modern elements of a superhero film and felt like it disregarded storytelling, a tight plot and a convincing story for its characters. Nevertheless, the action sequences and the CGI for the Venom characters were outstanding. Be that as it may, many fans missed the fact that Venom himself didn't feature the classic white spider on his chest, which was a big let-down after several years waiting for a new iteration of the Spider-man baddie after the whole Topher Grace fiasco in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3.

Well, new concept artwork revealed by The Venom Site recently surfaced and it features a white chest brand for Tom Hardy, but not the classic white spider. Nevertheless, it's a more comic accurate look for Tom Hardy than the one we saw in the film. Check out the pictures in the gallery below.

Tom Hardy Venom

Venom follows Eddie Brock as he attempts to revive his journalism career by investigating the Life Foundation only to come into contact with an alien symbiote that bonds with him, granting him powers and transforming him into the titular anti-hero.

A sequel to Venom is currently in the works at Sony Pictures with writer Kelly Marcel. Hardy, Williams, and Harrelson are expected to return, but Fleischer likely won’t be back in the director’s chair as he’s busy shooting the studio’s Zombieland sequel.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script by Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg and Kelly Marcel, the film stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Ron Cephas Jones, and Woody Harrelson.

One of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters takes center stage as Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) becomes the host for the alien symbiote Venom. As a journalist, Eddie has been trying to take down the notorious founder of the Life Foundation, genius Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) – and that obsession ruined his career and his relationship with his girlfriend, Anne Weying (Michelle Williams).

Upon investigating one of Drake’s experiments, the alien Venom merges with Eddie’s body, and he suddenly has incredible new superpowers, as well as the chance to do just about whatever he wants. Twisted, dark, unpredictable, and fueled by rage, Venom leaves Eddie wrestling to control dangerous abilities that he also finds empowering and intoxicating. As Eddie and Venom need each other to get what they’re looking for, they become more and more intertwined — where does Eddie end and Venom begin?

Venom is now available on Digital HD and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD.
