Guy Ritchie’s most recent production tackled the age-old story of King Arthur in what will presumably be a stylish, action-packed and wryly funny film, if the director’s largely successful past endeavours are anything to go by. Audiences got their first look at the swashbuckling exploits of Charlie Hunnam’s strapping young king in a trailer released at San Diego Comic-Con last year, which showed a fresh take on a legend people are more than familiar with by now.
After almost a year of waiting for new material, it seems the time has finally come for another look at the film: Trailer Track reported that the British Board of Film Classification recently rated a brand new trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword as 12A, and it evidently comes in at just over two minutes. This update indicates that the trailer will be dropping within the next couple of weeks, hopefully sooner rather than later. Keep an eye out!
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword was directed by Guy Ritchie, based on a screenplay by Ritchie, Lionel Wigram and Joby Harold. It stars Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Jude Law, Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey and Eric Bana.
It is scheduled to be released on May 12th 2017.
