New ‘Venom’ BTS Photo Gives A Possible Look At The New Suit

VenomA new behind-the-scenes photo has surfaced from the set of Venom, which might offer a glimpse at Tom Hardy’s new suit.

The picture, which surfaced on Instagram, features Hardy in shadow and shows him wearing some sort-of military gear, which is a bit different than the traditional look of the symbiote.

Check it out for yourself in the picture below:

It was previously reported that the film will be using performance capture in order to bring some of the characters to life, so it is possible this look is something that we could see prior to Venom wearing something more in line with the traditional suit.

What do you think of the new look? Sound off in the comments below!

Venom will be the first film in Sony’s Marvel universe and will be followed by Silver and Black. Sony’s films are separate to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which means it’s highly unlikely that Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock will be swinging alongside Spider-Man anytime soon.

The film is expected to be an origin film, with the two principal characters being Venom and Carnage. The film is being directed by Ruben Fleisher and also stars Riz Ahmed and Michelle Williams.

Venom hits theatres on October 5, 2018.

6 R-Rated Comic Book Movies Audiences Deserve

Previous1 of 7

Comic Book Characters Green Arrow Black Widow Batman R-RatedLogan and Deadpool have shown studios that R-Rated superhero movies can succeed. Sure, Watchmen and 300 kind of proved that same point in 2009, but now both Marvel and DC have said R-Rated movies are a possibility. Audiences are tired of so many comic book movies featuring similar plots, so opening more projects to the potential of being R-Rated makes it possible that different, mature stories can be told.

Some characters, like Superman and Spider-Man, should never receive the R-Rated treatment. If a character is defined by a sense of hope or optimism instead of a dark, gritty core that grounds all their actions, then a R-Rated movie likely won’t work.

THEN. WHY. SUGGEST. THIS. IS. THE. NEW. SUIT?

    • Restore the Republic

Perhaps you should just use your brain and release he’s probably just getting rigged up to do a wire stunt. Why would they do a costume reveal like that?

  • Sire Joe

Ya. What Matt said. However, IF, and it seems incredibly unlikely, but IF that is anything like the suit the symbiote is wearing…. yeah, they can frack off. I would have ZERO interest in that.

    • Restore the Republic

He’s just getting harnessed up to do a wire stunt. Why are people so lacking in common sense sometime, smh

      • Sire Joe

I equate common sense with knowledge everyone knows. I know nothing of harnesses for wiring stunts, so if that comment is aimed at me, I can assure you that the average person isnt going to know that that is not what the article is half-ass claiming it to be. But thanks for the info, if indeed you are correct.

The context of my comment hits at HH’s lousy attempts at clickbait headlines that are contradicted within the article. I’m using my brain just fine, it would be nice if these bum writers would start in the meantime.

Keep shaking your head; hopefully you’ll get so dizzy you fall off your high horse.
