‘Arrow’: Nyssa-Talia Showdown Will Have ‘Clear Winner’ In Season Finale

The lines have been drawn, and tonight the stand-in Team Arrow and Team Promethus will have a final showdown on Lian Yu. One of the fights the battle will feature is a sister v. sister showdown as Nyssa (Katrina Law) and Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig) are set to duke it out.

TVLine has released the latest edition of “Ask Ausiello,” a series where the site’s creator, Michael Ausiello, answers several questions related to multiple TV shows. When asked about the Nyssa-Talia showdown, Ausiello referenced what Doig had told him about the event.

“[It’s] pretty al Ghul-ish from the second you see them on screen together,” Doig said. “There’s a clear winner, for sure. They choreographed a really wicked fight scene. And our stunts double just killed it in terms of selling it. I will say it’s pretty epic, but the whole episode is epic. It’s like one ‘holy s—t!’ moment after another.”

First appearing back in season two, Nyssa burst onto the Arrow scene instead of Talia, who is the better known al Ghul sister. Ever since she first showed up in relation to her father, Ra’s al Ghul, and the League of Assassins, fans have wondered if Talia would make an appearance on the show as well. However, they had to wait until season five to see Talia make her entrance and now Talia and Nyssa will be throwing down as they fight on opposite sides of the Oliver-Prometheus conflict.
