OFFICIAL: New ‘Captain Marvel’ Trailer Dropping Tomorrow On ESPN

Captain Marvel Avengers 4 Brie Larson

A brand new trailer for Brie Larson’s first cinematic solo outing as Captain Marvel is set to make its debut tomorrow on ESPN.

The reveal came from a sneak peek that aired on ESPN, revealing that the second Captain Marvel trailer is coming during halftime of the Monday Night Football game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins. You can check out the sneak peek below.

It’s not quite an Avengers 4 sneak peek, but fans won’t wait have to wait too long for that following the release of tomorrow’s Captain Marvel trailer. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already confirmed that the first Avengers 4 trailer would drop before the end of the year, so it’s definitely coming later this month.

The film follows Carol Danvers, a.k.a. the superheroine known as Captain Marvel. In the comics, Danvers was a test pilot who gained super strength and the ability to fly after being caught in an explosion with a Kree device. Here is the synopsis for the film:

Based on the Marvel comic character first appearing in 1968, the story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.  Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.
