Oscar Isaac says he isn’t interested in Poe starring in his own Disney Plus series and continuing his story after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

When asked in a new interview if he’d like to continue playing Poe in a Disney Plus series, Oscar Isaac swiftly confirmed that he isn’t interested whatsoever. With the popularity of Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian on the streaming service, it isn’t surprising that fans are already wondering which character is next for the series treatment. However, Oscar Isaac doesn’t want to portray Poe further in a Disney Plus series after his appearance in The Rise of Skywalker.

When Oscar Isaac and Star Wars co-star Keri Russell were interviewed by Collider, they were asked whether either of them would continue their roles on a solo Disney Plus series. Oscar Isaac instantly responded with a polite “nope” while his co-star teased him about the big payout that would come with starring in a Disney Plus series. Whether that reveals anything about Poe’s fate in the final chapter in the new Star Wars trilogy remains to be seen.

Would you want to see Oscar Isaac’s Poe get his own Disney Plus series? What are your predictions for The Rise of Skywalker? Let us know in the comments!
