Paramount announced it’s delaying A Quiet Place: Part II and Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick till 2021.
Horror and action fans will be disappointed to learn that Paramount is delaying two of its highly anticipated releases till 2021. A Quiet Place: Part II has been shifted once again, moving from it’s previous September 4 date this year to April 23, 2021. Fans of the impressive first film were already disappointed when the film was moved earlier in the year from its March 20 date to September, but they’ll have to wait a little longer to catch up with the Abbott family. Unfortunately, Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick also came under fire from the delays.
While the action blockbuster was originally slated for July 24 this year, it was pushed to December 23 following the pandemic and now Paramount has decided to reshuffle Top Gun: Maverick once more to July 2, 2021. but it’s understandable given the current global situation. The July spot now taken by Top Gun: Maverick in 2021 also means that Paramount’s Jackass has also been moved further back to September 3, 2021.

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence.
