A behind-the-scenes photo from Marvel’s animated MODOK TV series shows Patton Oswalt wearing a life-size version of the costume.
With Marvel’s MODOK series getting rave reviews from critics, many fans are excited to see what’s in store for the over-sized villain in the new Hulu animated show. With stop-motion animation and plenty of superhero references, it looks like a good time for fans of the comics, shows and movies to come out of Marvel. The trailers for the show were impressive, giving us a proper look at what to expect from Patton Oswalt’s villain. But did you know he had his own MODOK costume?
Co-creator of the MODOK series Jordan Blum took to Twitter to show off a behind-the-scenes photo of Patton Oswalt sitting in a giant, life-size version of the character. It looks like the character’s face plate slides up into the top half of his head so the actor can’t be seen in the suit, but it’s a brilliant look at how bizarre the show will be. Take a look at Patton Oswalt in the suit for Marvel’s MODOK below.
