Paul Rudd Grooves To The Music In A New ‘Ant-Man 3’ Set Video

Ant-Man's got a pep in his step!

A new video from the set of Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania teases a hilarious musical montage.

Marvel Studio’s Ant-Man films have always succeeded at being comedic, even more so than the rest of the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, with Paul Rudd spearheading the cast and Peyton Reed behind the camera, it’s no surprise that the MCU has created two bonafide comedic hits.

The core cast and crew are set to return for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will see Jonathan Major’s Kang as the big bad. After the jarring events of Loki, many were under the impression that the third Ant-Man film would be darker but a new set video indicates that that isn’t the case and the world is all the better for it.

A new video posted on Twitter (via Instagram user Paparazzipodcast) features Paul Rudd walking down a San Francisco sidewalk. Outdoor speaks are heard blasting John Sebastian’s “Welcome Back”, with the Ant-Man star moving to the music, implying that a musical montage of sorts is being filmed. What’s got Scott Lang so happy that he’s got a pep in his step? No ideas as of yet but the character seems far too happy – perhaps Kang will dampen his spirits a bit?

Directed by Peyton Reed from a script written by Jeff Loveness, the film stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors and Bill Murray.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on July 28, 2023. Stay tuned to continue for all the latest news on the upcoming film, as well as Paul Rudd’s future in the MCU as Scott Lang, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
