Pedro Pascal, star of the upcoming Star Wars series The Mandalorian reveals that the show explores the “center” of good and evil.
While promoting the highly-anticipated show, Pedro Pascal discussed how The Mandalorian explores moral ambiguity – a common theme in the Star Wars franchise:
“They separate good and evil so perfectly in the world of Star Wars. And in this one it’s like we’re way more at the center. We’re past those borders, and past those very, very linear, very specific lines of definition.”
The Star Wars series is famous for its exploration of the Jedi and the Dark Side, which are often associated with the age-old themes of good vs. evil. But it’s no stranger to exploring moral ambiguity, and Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian seems to be continuing to explore characters that are neither completely good nor completely evil.
