Pedro Pascal just revealed The Mandalorian‘s real name in the Star Wars show during an interview discussing the new series on Disney Plus. The first episode of Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian arrived on Disney Plus to critical acclaim, with many fans and critics praising how the Star Wars series grounds the universe while taking it back to the classic days of Star Wars: A New Hope. With a surprising ending to the first chapter, fans are already desperate to learn as much as they can about The Mandalorian.

But in a recent interview about Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian, the actor revealed the bounty hunter’s real name in the Star Wars series. Pedro Pascal revealed the name when discussing the style of the Star Wars series next to how he and Jon Favreau approached the character. At the beginning of the clip, The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal called the bounty hunter Din Jarren – although it hasn’t been confirmed how his name is spelt. The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. The Disney+ series was written by Jon Favreau, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist is also on board as a co-executive producer.

Dave Filoni will direct the first episode of the Star Wars series and additional episodes will be helmed by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard, Dope director Rick Famuyiwa, and Jessica Jones director Deborah Chow.
