New ‘Black Adam’ Poster Reveals Best Look Yet At Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate Costume

The doctor is in!

Pierce Brosnan Doctor Fate Black Adam

A new character poster for Dwayne Johnson’s DC film Black Adam offers a new look at Pierce Brosnan in full costume as Dr. Fate.

Black Adam will introduce the Justice Society of America to the DCEU as a foil for Dwayne Johnson’s Teth-Adam. Amongst the ranks of the JSA is Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate, a magic-wielding hero recognisable by his iconic golden helmet.

While the character has made some brief TV appearances before, Pierce Brosnan’s take on Dr. Fate in Black Adam will mark the first time the hero has been adapted for the big screen.

‘Fate Does Not Make Mistakes’ In Black Adam

The new poster featuring Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate was shared by Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson on Twitter, alongside the quote “Fate does not make mistakes.”

Check out the new poster featuring Pierce Brosnan as the DC hero below:

While Pierce Brosnan’s Kent Nelson has been seen unmasked in the trailers for Black Adam, little has been shown of Dr. Fate in his full costume up until now. The new poster offers a clear look at Fate’s fully suited look, revealing the mysterious inscriptions on his suit and the asymmetric design of his Helmet of Fate.

Given how little the costume has featured in trailers and other promotional material for Black Adam, it is not clear how much time Pierce Brosnan’s Kent Nelson will spend fully suited up in the DC movie. However, it appears he will play a pivotal role as a guiding force for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.

Brosnan’s Dr. Fate will appear alongside Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, who serves as the leader of the Justice Society when they are introduced in Black Adam. The superhero team is expected to both clash and join forces with Black Adam as he is forced to choose between the paths of good and evil.
