Less than a month ago, Johnny Depp surprised Pirates of the Caribbean fans by showing up at the Disneyland attraction dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow. Now, fellow cast members have joined him in making appearances at the parks to promote the movie, even if they don’t go as far to dress up as their characters.
CinemaBlend reports that the latest film – Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – has officially had its premieres in both China and Europe, as evidenced by the social media that can be seen below:
What you might have noticed is that both premieres happened at (or near) two Disney Theme Parks – Shanghai Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. That’s because the stars of the picture Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush, and newcomers Javier Bardem and Brendon Thwaites all spent time in the parks afterward.

As it stands, the Pirates franchise is looking to make a comeback between positive pre-release buzz and rising box office projections. Hopefully, the newest movie in the series will reinvigorate the series and restore it to the promise that the first film showed.
Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales sets sail on May 26, 2017. The film stars Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Brendon Thwaites, Kaya Scodelario, Kevin McNally, Geoffrey Rush, and Orlando Bloom.
