‘Pirates Of The Caribbean 5’: New Trailer May Be Coming

The teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales offered a first look at Javier Bardem as the terrifying Captain Salazar, but it was short on any story details aside from the fact that, once again, Jack Sparrow was wanted by an old nemesis. Now, Trailer Track is reporting that a new trailer for the fifth installment of the Pirates franchise may be on the way that could offer more insight into the film’s story.

Trailer Track reports that Consumer Protection BC has classified a new teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. According to Consumer Protection BC, the teaser will have a run time of 1 minutes and 2o seconds.

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him.  Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

Directed by Espen Sandberg & Joachim Rønning, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales stars Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush. Keira Knightley will reprise her role as Elizabeth Swann in a cameo appearance.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be released in theaters on May 26, 2017.
