New ‘The Predator’ Set Photo Features Titular Creature Riding A Tank

A new set photograph from director Shane Black's 'The Predator' features the titular creature hitching a ride on a tank and posing for the camera.

Production on Shane Black’s The Predator is currently underway in Vancouver and audiences are curious to see the fan favorite filmmakers reboot of the science fiction film series. Though details on the film have been scarce and an official image of the titular creature has not been released, photographer Jarrod Au recently shared an image taken on the set that features the Predator hitching a ride on a tank.

Posted on his Instagram account, the set photo features two actors donning Predator costumes and make-up, with one performer posing the camera.

Details on the The Predator‘s plot are currently under wraps, though the film will center on a new group of characters who find themselves targeted by the titular creature in the suburbs.

Original Predator producers John Davis, Joel Silver, and Lawrence Gordon have returned to produce the reboot.

Directed by Shane Black, the film stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Thomas Jane, Yvonne Strahovski, Alfie Allen, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Edward James Olmos.

The Predator will be released in theaters on August 3, 2018.
