‘The Punisher’ To Include Another ‘Daredevil’ Character

The Punisher is adding another Daredevil character to the mix. Besides Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, Mitchell Ellison, Karen’s boss, will be making an appearance as well. Mitchell Ellison is played by Geoffrey Cantor and appeared in Daredevil’s first and second season, replacing Ben Urich as the primary journalistic point-of-reference (besides Karen, that is). Mitchell was also Ben’s boss prior to his murder by the Kingpin.

According to the IMDb cast listings, Cantor is supposed to appear as Mitchell in two episodes in The Punisher’s first season and MCUExchange has since confirmed the information. For now, it’s only speculation regarding the capacity in which Mitchell will show up. Perhaps he and Karen will be working on a story together? Karen got pretty close to Frank Castle in the second season of Daredevil and she proved to him that she is pretty trustworthy.

Karen’s appearance in The Punisher will be her second major crossover outside of Daredevil and this August’s The Defenders, which is set to include most major characters across the Marvel Netflix universe.

The Punisher stars Jon Bernthal, Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amber Rose Revah, Deborah Ann Woll, Daniel Webber, Jason R. Moore, Paul Schulze, Jaime Ray Newman and Michael Nathanson.

The Punisher is set to premiere on Netflix at some point this fall. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for further updates.
