Following recent comments made by Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino, Bruce Lee’s daughter has now told him to “shut up.”

While Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is receiving lots of critical acclaim, the film is still getting some backlash for its depiction of Bruce Lee. Quentin Tarantino recently responded to the backlash by saying Bruce Lee was “kind of an arrogant guy.” Now Bruce Lee’s daughter, Shannon, has responded to Quentin Tarantino’s most recent comments with Variety:

“He could shut up about it. That would be really nice. Or he could apologize or he could say, ‘I don’t really know what Bruce Lee was like. I just wrote it for my movie. But that shouldn’t be taken as how he really was.’”
