Mission: Impossible 7 star Rebecca Ferguson revealed a shot of her training for her role in the upcoming sequel.

Following the delay on Mission: Impossible 7‘s production, Rebecca Ferguson shared a shot of her training for the upcoming sequel. Fans of the franchise previously saw her in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Fallout as Ilsa Faust, an MI6 agent who later joined Ethan Hunt’s team. Faust and Hunt had some great chemistry on screen so hopefully that’ll be explored a little further in Mission: Impossible 7. According to Ferguson’s co-star Simon Pegg, the shoot will focus on outdoor scenes first when production restarts later this year in September.

Like many big budget productions, Mission: Impossible 7 has been hugely affected by the pandemic, with Nicholas Hoult also dropping out of the film due to scheduling conflicts and has since been replaced by Titans star Esai Morales. But Rebecca Ferguson took to Instagram to reveal she’s gearing up to work on the upcoming sequel by training with rifles to get back into playing Ilsa Faust once again. The star is working with Bare Arms Films who offer military advice to production companies. Take a look at the star posing with a rifle on Instagram below.
