Release Date Of ‘Rogue One’ DVD And Blu-Ray Reportedly Revealed

Felicity Jones In 'Rogue One'

The Star Wars blues have officially settled in again, as we draw further away from the surprise classic Rogue One and wait out the months that separate us from the newly christened Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. However, if you still pine for the rebels that had such a brief but important run in the franchise, you may not have long to wait before they grace your screen again.

MakingStarWars.net have just unearthed what seems to be the release date for the Blu-ray version of Rogue One on Amazon. A hardcover guide to the film’s production, entitled Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – The Official Mission Debrief, recently posted a product description that evidently has ties to the actual DVD and Blu-ray release:

“As Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is released on DVD worldwide, The Official Mission Debrief presents an all-encompassing guide to the hugely successful movie, with unprecedented access to the making of the film, its stars, its crew and its stunning landscapes. Relive the latest movie in the world’s biggest franchise over and over again. A must for any fan of Star Wars.”

The guide is set to be released on March 28th. This surely hints at the products coming out together, to give fans the option to purchase both the film and the Official Mission Debrief at the same time. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on that date!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was directed by Gareth Edwards, from a screenplay by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy. It stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk, Mads Mikkelsen, Jiang Wen and Ben Mendelsohn.
