‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ Motion Poster Released Online

The next entry in the Resident Evil series will also be the final one in the franchise, which has so far grossed more than $915 million at the worldwide box office. Titled The Final Chapter, the film will be directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and star Milla Jovovich as Alice, but this time around, the stakes are higher than ever. To drum up some interest, Sony Pictures has released a new motion poster for the movie, featuring Jovovich’s lead character along with a cool caption: “My name is Alice. This is the end of my story_.”

You can check out the motion poster below.

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker’s hand and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, William Levy, Ruby Rose, Iain Glen, Eoin Macken, Rola, Fraser James, Lee Joon-gi, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter hits theaters on January 27, 2017. Are you excited?
