After the Star Wars fandom rallied around director Rian Johnson, he thanked fans for supporting him as they “continuously defy every cynical narrative.” The support for director Rian Johnson comes after much discussion about how The Rise Of Skywalker undoes a lot of his work surrounding Rey’s origin from The Last Jedi.
