Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld joked about his infamous design of Captain America using fan art featuring Chris Evans.
Comic book fans will certainly remember Rob Liefeld’s infamous Captain America design showing the patriotic hero with oversized muscles while glaring through the page. It was originally designed as a poster promoting the Heroes Reborn event back in 1996. The comic book event saw the return of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom after they all died at the hands of the villain Onslaught. Recently, Rob Liefeld joked about his own work using fan art of Chris Evans’ Captain America inspired by the poster.
The design from popular digital artist Boss Logic sees Chris Evans wearing the Captain America suit from Avengers: Endgame while having the inflated chest inspired by Rob Liefeld’s art. Chris Evans’ facial expression was also edited further to give him the frown from the original Heroes Reborn poster art. The original caption joked about how people will look after training through the coronavirus lockdown, with Rob Liefeld saying he’s “all in for it.” Take a look below.
