Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld used Twitter on Monday to vent his frustrations with Marvel and reveal that he’s about to take legal action against the company.
Rob Liefeld is best known as the man who created Deadpool, Cable and other beloved Marvel comic book characters. Rob Liefeld famously left Marvel in the ’90s to form Image Comics. However, Rob Liefeld returned to Marvel since then and recently created the character Major X. On Monday, Rob Liefeld took to his official Twitter page and called out Marvel for their “shady practices.” Rob Liefeld hinted that he may pursue legal action against Marvel after speaking with his attorney while also mentioning Disney CEO Bob Iger in his tweet. However, Rob Liefeld didn’t go into further detail on what the issue with Marvel might be.
