The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman called for the release of Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League.

Although Justice League is approaching its two-year anniversary, a segment of the fanbase continues to call on Warner Bros. to release Zack Snyder’s original cut of the DC film. Now, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has joined them by calling for the release of Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League at the premiere for the AMC series’ tenth season.

During a red carpet interview with ComicBook.com, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman commented on his thoughts regarding Spider-Man’s recent exit from the MCU. However, after the interview concluded, Robert Kirkman turned to the camera and called for the release of Zack Snyder’s original version of Justice League by yelling, “Release the Snyder Cut!” However, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman may have been joking as his call to release Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League followed the interviewer’s call to “save Spider-Man.”

The tenth season of Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead premieres on October 6, 2019, on AMC. However, Robert Kirkman concluded the Walking Dead comics on which the series is based with issue #193.

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
