Robert Pattinson’s Batman Gets An Alex Ross Inspired Look In New Image

Robert Pattinson’s Batman gets a look inspired by legendary Kingdom Come artist Alex Ross in awesome new artwork for Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

The Batman is now in pre-production with principal photography expected to start early next year. More casting news could be on the way soon as fans continue to speculate on what the upcoming DC Comics movie could look like. There has been lots of artwork showing what Robert Pattinson could look like as Batman as fans await the first official photo of the Twilight alum suited up as Gotham’s Dark Knight. Robert Pattinson is also following some of the most beloved batsuits so far, worn by Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. Now, John Reagan has shared a cool piece of fan art that imagines what Robert Pattinson could look like if his Batman look was inspired by comic book artist Alex Ross:

What do you think of this Alex Ross-inspired look for Robert Pattinson’s Batman suit? Are you a fan of Alex Ross? Would you like to see a similar Batsuit in The Batman? Let us know in the comments!

Plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps. Previous rumors once pointed to an earlier version of the script featuring Ben Affleck bookending the film as his current Batman while the film introduced a younger version of the character. But with Ben Affleck retired from the role, Robert Pattinson has officially replaced the Batman v Superman and Justice League star as the DC Extended Universe’s live-action Bruce Wayne.

While details are slim, Matt Reeves has confirmed that his Batman film is not based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic and will emphasize the hero as the world’s greatest detective more than previous films have in the past. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new movie trilogy starring Robert Pattinson.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC Films. The list also includes The FlashGreen Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Shazam 2, Supergirl, Aquaman 2, The Trench, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, and New Gods.

The Batman arrives in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for more updates on the project and the future of the DC Extended Universe.
