Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne is broken down and bloody after battle in a stunning new piece of fan art for The Batman.
Ever since the casting of Robert Pattinson, things have been quiet on The Batman, the highly-anticipated DC Comics movie that’s being directed by Matt Reeves. The film is now in pre-production and more casting announcements could be coming soon as the project inches closer to its 2020 start date. The villains for The Batman are still unconfirmed, but many rumors have been pointing to a rogues gallery appearing in the film. If the rumors are to be believed, Robert Pattinson’s Batman could be facing Catwoman and The Penguin, among many others. A rogues gallery will likely put Robert Pattinson’s Batman to the test and new fan art from ShatterverseEnt depicts what that could look like. Check out the artwork below.

What villains do you want to see in Matt Reeves’ The Batman? Are you excited to see Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight? Sound-off your thoughts in the comments!
Plot details for Matt Reeves’ The Batman are being kept under lock and key. Previous rumors once pointed to an earlier version of the script featuring Ben Affleck bookending the film as his current Batman while the film introduced a younger version of the Caped Crusader. But with Ben Affleck retired from the role, Robert Pattinson has officially replaced the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League actor as the DC Extended Universe’s Bruce Wayne.
While details are slim, Matt Reeves has confirmed that his film featuring Robert Pattinson is not based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic and will emphasize Batman as the world’s greatest detective more than previous films have in the past. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.
The Batman opens theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for more updates on the project.
