An alternate design for Bradley Cooper’s Rocket was recently revealed in a piece of Avengers: Endgame concept art.
While fans were pleased to see one of Rocket’s outfits from the comics come to life on screen during Avengers: Endgame, it seems that the hero nearly had a completely different look according to a new piece of concept art. Since Avengers: Endgame is undoubtedly the biggest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, it isn’t surprising that Marvel Studios wanted multiple design options for every single character in their current slate of heroes, including Rocket Raccoon.
The new concept art from Avengers: Endgame imagines Rocket wearing a completely different style of outfit compared to the final version in the film. Rocket’s outfit utilizes plenty of straps and belts to hold his look together. Rodney Fuentebella explained that his concept art of Rocket’s outfit was designed to look more like a space pirate/mechanic instead of the lovable rogue that fans know him to be. Take a look at the alternate concept art of Bradley Cooper’s Rocket in Avengers: Endgame below.
