Marvel Studios concept illustrator Rodney Fuentebella revealed an early costume design for Rocket Raccoon in Avengers: Endgame.
As the only member of the Guardians of the Galaxy who survived Thanos’ wrath, Rocket Raccoon played a crucial role in the Avengers’ time heist to retrieve the Infinity Stones from the past and use them to reverse the Mad Titan’s decimation. For this adventure into the past, Rocket Raccoon sported the Avengers’ quantum suit as well as a comic-accurate blue and red outfit underneath.
However, Avengers: Endgame concept illustrator Rodney Fuentebella shared an early design for Rocket Raccoon’s costume that is very different from the final version. In the caption accompanying the photo, Fuentebella explained that he was aiming for an “asymmetrical look” with this Avengers: Endgame outfit.
