‘Rogue One’ Ending Recreated By Cosplayers At Star Wars Celebration

Rogue One A Star Wars Story

Conventions are a great place to meet thousands of people that are passionate about the same thing as you. They are also the best place to accurately recreate your favorite scenes on a low-budget. At Star Wars Celebration this past week, some cosplayers accurately depicted the ending of Rogue One with props around the convention center. For something as impromptu as this probably was, it’s rather impressive. Check it out below:

The Rogue One ending might be my favorite Star Wars scene ever, so it’s no wonder that they picked that scene to re-film.

Former scientist Galen Erso lives on a farm with his wife and young daughter Jyn. His peaceful existence comes crashing down when the evil Orson Krennic takes him away from his beloved family. Many years later, Galen is now the Empire’s lead engineer for the most powerful weapon in the galaxy, the Death Star. Knowing that her father holds the key to its destruction, a vengeful Jyn joins forces with a spy and other resistance fighters to steal the space station’s plans for the Rebel Alliance.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will release on December 15, 2017. Maybe there will be a few scenes for cosplayers to redo in that one as well.
