Ryan Reynolds jokes about how fans can see a Deadpool and Spider-Man crossover following the news of Tom Holland’s version exiting the MCU.
While Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool appears to be entering the MCU after the Disney-Fox deal, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man seems to be on his way out. News broke on Tuesday that Disney and Sony have failed to come to an agreement to produce future films set in the MCU together.
This news has been devastating to many Spider-Man and MCU fans for numerous reasons. One reason is that it kills the possibility of a team-up between Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. A fan asked Ryan Reynolds’ how they can see a Deadpool/Spider-Man crossover, to which the actor jokingly responded:
You can. But you can only see it in my heart.
