Ryan Reynolds crashed a recent X-Men cast reunion for charity featuring Hugh Jackman and more.
The main series of X-Men movies ended last year with Dark Phoenix as Marvel Studios has now regained control of the franchise. Fox‘s X-Men series was one of the first major superhero franchises get off the ground 20 years ago and featured plenty of huge stars in iconic roles. Perhaps, two of the most iconic roles were Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
While Ryan Reynolds is expected to continue playing Deadpool, Jackman has retired from his role after Logan. However, this hasn’t stopped Reynolds from trying to convenience Jackman publicly to do a Deadpool and Wolverine movie for years. If a Deadpool and Wolverine movie ever happened, it wouldn’t be the first time the two have shared the screen in an X-Men film. Of course, Reynolds and Jackman both starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is often regarded as one of the worst in the series. During a recent Global Citizen: United For Our Future live-stream event, many of the X-Men cast reunited in a hilarious video that featured a surprise appearance from another Origins: Wolverine star:
