Before production on Deadpool 2 got underway, a director change was made with Tim Miller departing the project and John Wick co-director David Leitch coming in as his replacement. There hasn’t been an official announcement regarding Deadpool’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but another sequel in inevitable. The next Deadpool project doesn’t have a director yet either, but it wouldn’t be surprising if David Leitch returned to helm.
