Next set to appear in Michael Bay’s Netflix movie 6 Underground, Ryan Reynolds appeared at CCXP to discuss the film, as well as his upcoming action-comedy Free Guy. For someone who had a loaded weekend at CCXP, Ryan Reynolds still found time to make a few jokes!
While sharing the core plot of 6 Underground at CCXP, Ryan Reynolds realized that he was describing the storyline of the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League. 6 Underground revolves around his character putting together a team to fight a villain, and while the theatrical cut of Justice League did feature that plot, it was minuscule compared to the Zack Snyder cut which would have focused quite more on that. Ryan Reynolds is no stranger to making quotes about the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, which makes it all the more hilarious to know that he name-dropped the film on the same day that Warner Bros. released the teaser for Wonder Woman 1984.

If you think about it, the plot for Ryan Reynolds’ next film and the Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League are pretty much similar. In the Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League, Bruce Wayne is a billionaire who puts together a team of heroes with special powers. In the Ryan Reynolds film, he’s doing the exact same thing except it’s a bunch of billionares instead of heroic Gods. Now, if only Ryan Reynolds would tweet about the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.
